All as in the description, only the spoon is too big for the first meal, more for the child's own meal in the future. The plate sits well, the outside is matte, and the inside is glossy. I recommend to buy.

I love this bowl and the lip is great for helping a toddler not spill everything. It feels solid and well made too. I'm not sure how well the wooden handle of the spoon will stand up to the dishwasher but I still like it!
